Spring 2010 Color Trends

As New York Fashion Week is going full throttle showcasing 2010 Fall Fashions, those of us not as fortunate to attend and still packed up in our 2009/2010 winter garb, are dreaming of warm weather and Spring 2010.

2010 Spring colors will brighten and bring some warmth to your day and wardrobe. The colors have strong undertones of yellow and red. Great colors that remind you of love, the ocean and nature. The fun colors complement most skin tones: Tomato Purée, Turquoise, Fusion Coral, Aurora and Amparo Blue. Plenty of
fashion lines will infuse several of these colors into patterns, prints and accessories making it easy to blend with existing key wardrobe staples.

If you are in the market of updating key staples (shoes, skirts, slacks and handbags), don't fret. A nice balance of rich neutral colors will be available. When thinking of spring and summer coming from the winter months where skin hidden from the abrasive cold, imagine now pealing off those layers and embracing flesh tone staples to along gate your body from the winter cocoon.

Passion in Work

Sometimes you find people either forget about what engaged them into taking a job or took a job just to have a job. This is an issue for companies, their products and their brand. Once an employee becomes less engaging when talking about what they do on a daily basis to others, the brand of the company fades.

It is very important, when keeping your company, brand and products desirable, to discover what are your employees’ passions. Do their passions fit the job they are doing? If their passions are outside of the job, how are you contributing to the involvement with the area of passion? Example: I have a passion for engaging people with brands, companies and products through creative thought and execution. It could be a new shoe or software. As long as I was able to peak interest, engage a brand and ultimately complete a transaction. I am happy have been part of the process and use my skills. This is what drives me. It is my passion.

What is your passion? How does it fit what you are doing? How do remind yourself why you do what you do? If you can answer these questions, your life will be more complete.
